To protect your machine from accidental flooding, we have developed something special:
The "flooding-stop" and the "water monitor"
Both protect your machine from damage often caused by inattention.
The water monitor:
The water monitor alerts you via a signal light and an acoustic warning tone if your machine develops a leak. Thanks to this safety feature, you can react immediately and protect the machine from major damage by switching it off. The sensor and circuitry are manufactured and tested in-house.
The flooding stop:
If the nut that holds the water rod in position is only slightly tightened or not tightened at all, your machine may become "flooded" when the water supply is switched on.
Due to the pressure, the rod shoots upward and water floods the upper part of your machine.
This may result in damage to electronics and ball bearings.
Our "flooding stop" prevents this. For more information see here.
Additionally, the machine is equipped with an RCD safety switch integrated into the plug.
Stainless steel precision shaft:
The brass shaft has been replaced with a precision shaft made of stainless steel. This provides greater stability and longer service life.

also easily possible with this powerful model.
Greater stability during drilling and easier handling
This "gemstone drilling machine" is the successful further development of the proven TBH “Pro 2”. In the TBH Pro 2 model, the drill spindle was redesigned so that diamond core drill bits can be screwed directly into the machine. An additional adapter is no longer required, resulting in significantly higher stability when drilling with diamond drill bits.

Like its predecessor TBH Pro 2, the TBH Pro 3 bench drilling machine is a specially developed wet drilling machine equipped with a 220–240 V permanent magnet motor. The spindle drive operates via a triple pulley system with a Poly-V belt. This gives the professional "gemstone drilling machine" nearly six times the torque in the lower speed range, which is particularly advantageous for large drilling diameters. The quill feed enables precise and sensitive operation. The drilling depth indicator with adjustable stop and the precision-mounted drill spindle make working with this premium "gemstone drilling machine" considerably easier.

The "gemstone drilling machine" has been specially modified for drilling with water. The drill spindle is hollow, allowing coolant to pass through the spindle to cool the drill bit. To prevent water ingress, the switch housing is specially sealed. Naturally, this function has been safety tested and certified by an independent institute. For maximum safety, the TBH Pro 3 bench drilling machine is also equipped with its own personal protection switch.
