The story of Günther Diamantwerkzeuge e.K. begins in Idar-Oberstein — the world capital of gemstone processing. What started as a workshop for the finest stone drilling has evolved over 35 years into a specialist for industrial diamond tools.
Founded by a long-established family from Idar-Oberstein, we brought the precision and attention to detail of gemstone craftsmanship into the industrial production of diamond tools. This combination of tradition and technical expertise continues to define our company today.
In 2006, Sascha Hilles took over the management. Trained as a precision machinist and backed by many years of experience in manufacturing and production, he has led the company ever since with hands-on know-how and continues to develop it year after year.
